11th Annual Oenology Contest
Baxter's Vineyards hosted their 11th Annual Amateur Oenology Contest on Saturday, June 25, 2005 at Baxter's Vineyards in Nauvoo, Illinois. There were twenty-five winemakers and fifty-seven different wines. Contestants brought their homemade vintages to Baxter's Vineyards/Winery to be judged by our panel of twelve judges. Those who were able to join us enjoyed a wonderful lunch and dessert prepared by Carol Sherrill and Mike Burger. We had great music to listen to played by Cole Pezley.
